Ok folks, I'm not a wussy type of person...I've had two C-sections and got right up later on in the evening. I had some pain for about two or three days and it was controlled well with meds while I was in the hospital. I walked around during the day, etc.

I'm having the breast reduction liposuction along with abdominal lipo ( those C-sections leave stuff!)...I guess you'd call it the breast-abdom combo, if you will.

Anyway, for those of you who've had any of the procedures mentioned above, how would you compare the pain afterwards to that felt with a C-section?

I had SBR Nov '07. !000cc and 900cc removed. I never had a C section. I personally took no pain medication following surgery. Took tylenol in the morning for 3rd - 5th day after surgery. The breasts were sore, tender and you will see bruising. You need to wear a supportive sports bra 24/7. I purchased one of the models recommended by Dr. Baxt's assistant Susan. Susan can give you the model info. I purchased the Annette bra - designed for post breast surgery. I don't know where you reside. Paramus Nordstrom sells the bras and can order bras. In one hour after surgery, I changed from a 38DD to 38C. Each person is different, I suggest you only purchase maybe two of whatever model sport bras for your current size now. You need to wear the bra 24/7 for support and comfort. Still today, I wear the Annette bra to bed - so comfy I forget I am wearing the bra. I wear the new Bali underwire comfort bra during the day - Model 72271/5383. I am still excited with the new Me. Went on my first beach vacation to Cancun last with new bathing suits and C cups. Have recently purchased new tops and no more XL or item still too tight. All my clothes and coats just fit properly. People have mentioned I have lost alot of weight. Well, actually no just lost the double D's. I stayed overnight at a local hotel before the surgery. Wise decision because only a 5 minute drive to the Dr's office for 6:45am appt for surgery. I went back to the hotel following surgery and slept for 2 hrs. - asked for 1:30PM check out for no charge. I then drove the 90 minutes home. Thorughly read the directions for what you need to do pre and post surgery. Dr. Baxt and his entire team are Excellent! I am having my Spring check up with Dr. Baxt in April. Wish you all the best! Hang in there and hope all goes well.

Thanks a million for your info.

I'm looking into the Annette bra and the model number you gave me in your post.

I live in Northern NJ and Dr. Baxt's office is not too far so I'll be able to get to the appointment without any trouble. Therefore, I won't need the hotel. However, sounds like a great idea...hmmm...room service... :D.

Given that I'm in NJ( and there's a mall within every thirty minute drive!), I will be at Nordstrom's for that bra item first chance I get.

Glad to hear you're doing so well.
