I just saw Dr. Baxt on the CBS evening news and I'm very interested in this procedure. On today's broadcast the doctor claimed that the most extreme scarless reduction was six cup sizes--however most of the postings I've read on this site only seem to go from double or triple D down to a C, and people seem disappointed that they didn't get smaller and I want to know what the limitations are with how much of reduction is possible, as I would want more of a reduction than I saw in the photos. I also have a host of other concerns:

1. I have severely fibrocystic breasts that are very painful and feel like lead balloons right before my period. Can liposuction work with extremely dense tissue?

2. My weight fluctuates and I tend to gain it and keep it in my breasts. I'm 41 years old I'm 5'3 and 135 pounds, and my bra size is currently a 34E or F. At age 16 I weighed 95 pounds and was a 34B & I've been a full C for most of my adult life. However, over the last several years the cup size has been creeping up to D, DD, E and now I'm an F. I am 20 pounds lighter now than at my heaviest. If I exercise I lose maybe a 1/2 cup or cup size. Will the sizes still fluctuate with weight after a scarless reduction?

3. Nipples--according to the before/after photos, the area seems to shrink with time--is the skin loose? What about sensation? Someone on the message board said they'd lost sensation-- Is this a common risk?

Given that height and weight, you are not an ideal candidate for a very large reduction. Yes, most are in the 2-3 cup range. That very large reduction is a patient from the UK and she posted heavily but it is way back on this board.
