:D Well, I had my surgery on Thursday. I had scarless breast reduction and liposuction of the flanks, waist, upper and lower tummy. I don't know how much was removed...other than 800ccs from each breast.

Today is Saturday and I feel great. My friend stayed with me on Thursday...good thing, I needed her to change my dressings and help me stand up and sit down.
I was worried because I found out that I had to go to Trenton the next day! It was fine...I took extra strength Tylenol and drove to Trenton, was sworn in as a law clerk, drove back to Newark and only had to change one dressing when I returned home! I think I had most of my drainage on Thursday. I came home, took my puppy out, and came back in and went to sleep. The biggest problem I have is bending over to pick up her poop!

Today - Saturday - I kind of took it easy. I showered on Friday, with my back to the water, and it was fine...felt good to shower. I showered today FACING the water...no problem. There is minimal bruising and my breasts itch....but for the most part, I haven't had any incapacitating problems. I am now only wearing gauze over the incisions, and not the bulky pads. I stopped wearing them today, but it turns out I didn't need them yesterday evening.

I do have some advice....I purchased 2 binders...that was good, because I had to wash the first one after Thursday, but I needed to wear one all the time. The second one came in handy. Buy some gauze and more tape...

I am already pleased even though I stepped on the scale and it appears that there is a weight gain! I just drink water ALL THE TIME. My friends don't know anything, and the hardest part was finding pants to wear on Friday, since I had those bulky Kotex on!

I start work on Monday....When i made the appointment I thought I would not start until November. But I am not worried...I just have to be careful bending and standing up. That's when I have some pain. The Tylenol is great.

I'll keep posting, but I am already happy I had the surgery, even though I am in that stage where nothing fits....I think that by Monday I will have a better selection! :P
